NNA - The Directorate General of Internal Security Forces, Public Relations Division, issued on Thursday the following communiqué:
"Today, 10/31/2013, an inspection unit of the Rafic Hariri International Airport Internal Security Forces, foiled an attempt to smuggle Captagon pills, estimated at 5 kg, in the possession of a Syrian traveler born in 1982."
The detainee admitted that he had intended to smuggle narcotic pills to one of the Arab countries through the Beirut airport.
