Labor Day Events in Lebanon

3:00 pm     On the occasion of International Workers’ Day (May 1), the National Federation of Workers and Employees Trade Unions in Lebanon will hold a workers’ gathering at the federation’s headquarters. 

4:00 pm     A cultural poetry festival titled “Tribute to the Worker on His Day” will be held at the General Labor Union headquarters in Corniche Al-Nahr. The event is organized by the Association for Communication and Human Dialogue, Al-Hadath wal Khabar magazine and website Cam News, and the Sons of Beirut Association, in cooperation with the General Labor Union, under the patronage of Minister of Labor Mohammad Haidar.
