NNA - Caretaker Culture Minister, Gaby Layyoun, on Wednesday signed an understanding memorandum with head of the Lebanese University, Adnan Sayyid Hussein, at the central administration center of LU in Mathaf/Beirut.



The memorandum was relevant to enhancing cooperation between LU and said ministry in terms of preserving heritages and safeguarding archaeological sites.



Layyoun gave a word saying that the memorandum aims high to preserve Lebanon and its history.



Sayyid Hussein, for his part, said that LU was the only university including the culture major in its academic programs and that it would seek to promote said major which benefits from modern technology.
