NNA - Caretaker Minister of Industry Vrej Sabounjian explained that the Ministry of Industry has been working on updating the mechanism of export reports to be more comprehensive and meet the current changes.
The Minister congratulated the Lebanese industrialists on successfully and expertly facing the challenges, pointing out that the exports of August 2013 exceeded those of August 2012 by 7%.
He said that this progress was clear evidence of the Lebanese industrialists' trust in Lebanon and its future and who translated this trust through intensive ongoing work to prove Lebanon's presence in the international markets, through meeting the high quality standards and the national and foreign consumers' demands.
