NNA - Angry protesters on Tuesday blocked the road with trash containers near Sidon’s Zaatari Mosque in protest against the massive increase of the US dollar exchange rate after crossing the threshold of LBP 30,000 and recording a historic collapse of the national currency, our reporter said. 

The protesters called on everyone to "join them and press for solutions to the country’s successive crises."
