NNA - Caretaker Minister of Telecommunications Nicolas Sehnawi and the Lebanese delegation returned yesterday night (Thursday) to Beirut coming from the Vatican after meeting with the Pope Francis and participating in the legal conference organized by the Pontifical Council for family.
"His Holiness pays special attention to the Christians of the East in general and Lebanon in particular," Sehnawi said at Rafik Hariri airport.
He added that the Lebanese delegation handed the Pope a report on the most important activities hosted by the Episcopal Commission for Family and Life to support the Christian families of Lebanon in order to strengthen their role and presence in the Levant in the light of all the difficult conditions prevailing over the region.
