NNA - MP Samer Saadeh on Thursday visited President Michel Sleiman at Baabda and handed him a letter, in which he beseeches interference to halt ongoing slaughters in Tripoli.
Saadeh requested the President to exert further efforts and use all available means to stop the killing, which has been taking away the lives of innocent citizens in the Capital of North Lebanon.
Kataeb MP said this step was the last resort, shedding light on the failure of all security meetings that were held to figure out means and plans to stop the crisis.
"Addressing you, Mr. President, stems from my stern belief in your precedence to face and solve the tragedy of Tripoli," he said.
