NNA - President Michel Sleiman convened on Tuesday with caretaker Minister of Environment Nazem Khoury, over the entry of chemical waste and weapons to Lebanon.
Following the meeting, Caretaker Minister denied any truth to that, affirming Lebanon's rejection to such practices.
Sleiman met afterwards with the Patriarchal Vicar General Archbishop Paul Sayah, along with a delegation of the follow-up committee that emerged from the recent broad Maronite meeting in Bkerke.
The delegation informed Sleiman on its activities to pursue the national causes related to the role of Christians.
MPs Robert Ghanem, Henri Helo and Antoine Saad visited Baabda palace and discussed with Sleiman the latest political developments.
IDAL (Investment Development Authority of Lebanon) chairman Nabil Itani, met with Sleiman today and handed him the annual report of the institution's work.
