NNA - A French judicial delegation met on Tuesday morning with Lebanon’s Public Prosecutor Judge Jamal Hajjar, and then held a lengthy meeting with the lead investigator in the Beirut Port explosion case, Judge Tarek Bitar.

The discussions focused on the exchange of information on the Beirut port explosion case.

While the delegation has not yet submitted the French technical report to the Lebanese side, the delegation is scheduled to meet with Judge Bitar tomorrow in a second session to continue the discussions on this file.

The delegation is also scheduled to meet tomorrow with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Suhail Abboud, and the Minister of Justice, Adel Nassar, before leaving Beirut on Thursday, returning to France.
