NNA - Deputy House Speaker Elias Bou Saab met on Wednesday with a delegation of the families of the Beirut port blast victims, to whom he reiterated that the blood of their sons will not be compromised.

“I have called for this meeting with the families of the victims and the detainees (…) and we discussed the issue that has been on hold for six months now,” Bou Saab said.

“I have spoken to all concerned sides, and I have contacted the President of the Republic, the House Speaker, the Prime Minister, the Justice Minister, and the Higher Judicial Council chief,” he revealed. “The file is on hold because the decree relevant to the cassation court’s appointments has been signed,” he added.
