NNA - Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati said that diplomatic contacts are underway to reach positive results in the maritime border demarcation file.

"The Lebanese state is following up on this sovereign dossier, which is being addressed through the diplomatic means in the hope of reaching positive results and reactivating the indirect negotiations," Mikati said.

He also highlighted the necessity of keeping this file away from political bickering and considerations.
