NNA – Caretaker Environment Minister Nasser Yassin, concluded his Akar tour on Sunday by visiting the Center of the “Darb Akkar” Association for Fighting Forest Fires in the town of Mishmish, where he met with the Association members and had a closer look at the team's work plan and training.

He visited the various parts of the Center, which includes the "Akkar Path" laboratory for environmental studies, the Association's herbarium, and the Insect Museum, which comprises rare specimens collected in Akkar.

Minister Yassin commended the efforts of the "Akkar Path", proposing to generalize the team's experience to benefit from it.
