NNA - Caretaker Minister of National Defense, Fayez Ghosn, expressed, in a statement on Tuesday, deep grief over the continuous bloodshed, in light of the fresh suicide bombing that targeted Haret Hreik before noon, claiming the lives of four and injuring over 35.



"What happened today in the Southern Suburb of Beirut comes within the frame of an infernal Takfiri scheme aimed to see the Lebanese bleeding," he said, upping calls for unity and solidarity in the face of terrorism.


He chided some sides which he did not name for justifying terrorist acts and attacks.


"The game of blood in which Lebanon, from Dahiyeh to Tripoli, has drowned, entails the different political parties to realize the peril of the conspiracy concocted against our country," he warned. "Lebanon is at stake."


He concluded that salvation resided in unity.
