NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Monday received at his residence in Ain el-Tineh former Deputy House Speaker Elie Ferzli and discussed with him overall developments at the local and regional scenes.
Interviewed after the visit, Ferzli said Berri was so keen on local stability that could only be achieved through national consensus.
Afterwards, Berri received the UNDP Resident Representative, Robert Watkins, and discussed with him overall developments at the local and regional scenes.
Amongst Berri's visitors had been the Vice-President of the German Bundestag, Claudia Roth.
