NNA - "I urged Saad Hariri to return to Lebanon in order to experience people's suffering," Druze Leader of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Talal Arslan, told a group of supporters and municipal heads coming to visit him at his Khaldeh residence on Sunday.
According to Arslan, Hariri's position vis-à-vis Hezbollah was indeed positive in the hope that it would bolster civil peace and avoid strife in Lebanon.
"I hope a new government will be formed since we face crucial dates including the Presidential elections," he added.
With respect to Nehme garbage dump, Arslan acknowledged that it continued to weigh heavily on the local populations' health let alone the ecological damage it caused.
"We urged both state and government officials to come up with quick solutions in order to ward off health hazards," Arslan concluded.
