NNA - MP Akram Shouhayib told Voice of Lebanon radio on Sunday that latest stance by former PM Saad Hariri is very positive and stems from his keenness on preserving national interest, and deemed that upcoming Cabinet will be a hundred percent Lebanese "for the first time."
An all embracing Cabinet was exactly what the country needed, according to the MP, who asserted that no one can eliminate the other, particularly during current circumstances that surround Lebanon at a time when the whole region was heading towards "inevitable settlements."
"The Constitution stipulates discussing ministerial statement after the formation of Cabinet and not before," Shouhayib said.
"Hezbollah's decision to participate in the fighting in Syria was a regional one; hence, its withdrawal is also linked to an international and regional settlement."
The MP also lauded the work of the STL, describing it as "sophisticated, organized and accurate."
"The sessions held have confirmed that justice is certainly on the way and doubting the work of the tribunal is a thing of the past."
