NNA - Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bshara Butros Al-Rai, met Saturday with French President's Personal Representative for Middle Eastern Affairs, Manuel Bonn, accompanied by French Ambassador to Beirut, Patrice Paoli.


Recent developments on both the local and regional scenes topped their discussions.

Bonn seized the chance to reiterate France's support for Lebanon's stability, while stressing on the importance of respecting Constitutional deadlines. He also praised the unifying role played by Patriarch Al-Rai.
