NNA - Caretaker Minister of Youth and Sports, Faysal Karami, lauded recent stances of former PM Saad Hariri who acknowledged that upcoming Cabinet should embrace all political parties, including Hezbollah, and urged everyone to meet Hariri halfway.
Karami condemned on Saturday, during a press conference at his Tripoli office, recent security attacks targeting all of Lebanon and hoped that Tripoli would no longer be used as a battle field.
"Yesterday we heard good things from Saad Hariri, and that indicates two things; first, that he is keen on preserving civil peace and national interest as well as putting out sectarian fires; and second, it confirms that regional and international atmosphere, which is considered a safety umbrella for Lebanon, seeks resolution."
Karami added that recent events were positive and must be channelled towards Cabinet formation.
