NNA - Beirut witnessed a flurry of diplomatic activity with the arrival of a 4-man Russian parliamentarian delegation and their aides. British MP, Geoffrey Donaldson , and Nigerian minister of Education, Myriama Ibrahimi, separately arrived in Beirut and are due to meet with high officials here shortly.



Iranian ambassador, Ghazanfar Roknabadi, left for Tehran while Iraqi ambassador, Raad Allousi, flew to Amman. Designated Eritrean ambassador Mohamed Mahmoud and the new ambassador of Kazakhstan Bulat Sarsenbayeb are due to assume diplomatic duties shortly.
