NNA - The Trial Chamber of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon will hold a hearing on Tuesday 29 October in preparation for the start of the trial in the Ayyash et al. case.



The hearing, which is the first Pre-Trial Conference to be held by the Trial Chamber judges, will cover the following items:



o Trial readiness of the parties and legal representatives for the victims;
o Prosecution witness and exhibit lists;
o Prosecution presentation of evidence at trial; and
o Modalities of victims participation



The Pre-Trial Conference, which will begin at 10 AM (Central European Time), will be public; however, the Trial Chamber may decide to go into closed session during the course of the hearing if confidential matters need to be discussed.
