NNA - Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, announced, through his account on the “X” platform this morning: “The Ministry’s snow plowing centers are working around the clock to open the roads despite the weather conditions that Lebanon is witnessing.”

Hamieh stressed that "these efforts aim to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain traffic movement in various Lebanese regions."

He continued: "The concerned teams are roaming the regions to remove the piles of snow that have closed some main and secondary roads, especially in the mountainous areas that are difficult to access due to stormy weather."

Hamieh called on all to “adhere to the instructions of the Internal Security Forces, in order to preserve public safety in light of these exceptional circumstances.”
