NNA - “Lebanese Forces" party leader, Samir Geagea, on Tuesday said via his Twitter account: "Today, I was struck by someone saying that the upcoming elections are tantamount to a political version of July war, but it would have been more accurate to say that it is a political war of liberation. As for their claims that opponents seek their weapons and resistance so that Israel and the US will have the final say in Lebanon, it would be more accurate to say: They want legitimate weapons and state so that the final say in our country will be that of the Lebanese.”
