NNA - Lebanese Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued a statement today, indicating that on April 12, 2025, as a result of security follow-up and surveillance, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, seized a truck loaded with equipment for manufacturing Captagon, as well as raw materials used in drug manufacturing, in the Harf al-Samaka-Hermel area.

The statement added that the truck was intended for smuggling from Syria to Lebanon. The seized items were handed over to the concerned sides and an investigation was initiated under judiciary supervision. The investigation is underway to arrest those involved.
