NNA – Beirut Southern Suburbs, specifically the Ghobeiry area, on Friday came under intense Israeli aerial bombardment, with two strikes conducted by drones followed by a third, highly destructive airstrike by warplanes near the Ghobeiry Municipality. The latter attack leveled a building, causing significant devastation in the densely populated area.  

Earlier in the day, the Ghobeiry neighborhood witnessed heavy gunfire intended to alert residents to evacuate following threats issued by the Israeli military. Local authorities had urged civilians to leave as fears of escalation grew.
