NNA -  Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa met with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday as he arrived in Doha at the start of his first official visit to the Gulf country.

According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, Sharaa is accompanied by Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani during his trip to Qatar.

No official statement has yet been released about the content of the talks between the two leaders. -- Anadolu news agency
