NNA - The Baptist Hospital in central Gaza City, north of the Strip, was attacked on Saturday night by Israei warplanes, according to Sky News Arabia.

The Palestinian Information Center said that the Israeli army threatened to bomb the hospital first, prompting those inside to forcibly evacuate patients and the wounded. Health officials at the hospital evacuated the building of patients and the wounded after receiving a call from someone claiming to be an Israeli security official shortly before the attack.

The center reported that Israeli aircraft bombed the hospital with two missiles, destroying the reception and emergency department, the surgical operations building, and the medical oxygen plant used for intensive care patients.
