NNA - Five civilians were killed and others were injured on Sunday night in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes bombed the emergency building of the Nasser Medical Complex, resulting in the killing of five citizens and the wounding of several others. Fires also broke out in the building.

The Nasser Medical Complex announced that its surgery department has been completely disabled following the Israeli airstrike.

In the early hours of last Tuesday, the Israeli occupation resumed its genocidal war in Gaza, which, by Thursday evening, resulted in the killing of nearly 600 citizens and the injury of over 1,000 others, with 70% of the casualties being children, women, and the elderly.
