NNA - The Arab Republic of Egypt has reaffirmed its firm rejection of any proposals or plans aimed at undermining the Palestinian cause, particularly through the displacement of the Palestinian people from their historic land and its seizure, whether temporarily or permanently.
Egypt warned of the serious consequences of such ideas, which it deemed as a violation and denial of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, emphasizing that Egypt would not be a party to any such plans.
In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt condemned recent remarks made by several Israeli government officials regarding the implementation of a plan to forcibly displace the Palestinian people from their land.
The statement pointed out that these actions represent a breach of international law, humanitarian law, and the most basic rights of Palestinian citizens, and those responsible must be held accountable.
Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of addressing the root causes of the conflict, which lie in the fact that a people has been living under occupation for decades, suffering from displacement, persecution, and discrimination.
The statement emphasized that the immediate end of these injustices is essential for the restoration of Palestinian rights, in accordance with international legitimacy and legal frameworks. -- WAFA news agency
