NNA - The Israeli Forces on Wednesday said it foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons into Israel from Egypt overnight, using a drone.

The drone was spotted crossing the border from Egypt into Israel and was shot down by troops dispatched to the scene.

The soldiers found that the drone was ferrying 13 assault rifles, according to the IDF.--agencies
