NNA - The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said on Sunday evening that the movement will abide by the ceasefire agreement that went into effect in Gaza earlier on Sunday, but warned of any possible Israeli violations that would threaten the operation and the lives of the hostages, according to Sky News Arabia.
Abu Obeida, the spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, urged the mediators in a videotaped speech to force Israel to abide by the ceasefire agreement.
He said: "We are keen on making all the terms and stages of the agreement a success in order to spare the blood of our people and in the hope of achieving its goals, and we call on all mediators to oblige the enemy to do so."
On the other hand, the Israeli army announced that the three Israeli hostages released in the Gaza Strip entered Israeli territory accompanied by its forces.
