NNA - Minister of Defense of the Syrian Interim Government, Murhaf Abu Qasra, announced the start of sessions with the military factions, to set the steps for their involvement in the Ministry of Defense and work on a road map towards stabilizing the structure of the armed forces.

SANA news agency quoted Abu Qasra as saying, “The sessions aim to develop a road map to achieve stability in the organizational structure of the armed forces.”

He pointed out that it "comes within the directives of the General Command to restructure the armed forces and organize the Syrian Arab Army."
