NNA - At least 26 civilians, including women and children, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since dawn on Friday, according to medical sources.
WAFA correspondents said that two civilians were killed and several others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting the Khirbet al-Adas area, north of Rafah in southern Gaza. A civilian was also killed by Israeli gunfire in the Shakush area south of the Gaza Strip.
Three more civilians were killed and others were injured after Israeli forces shelled a group of civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, west of Gaza City. Israeli aircraft also bombed Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Earlier, four civilians were killed and others were injured in Israeli strikes that targeted a house belonging to the Salman family and a nearby tent west of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.
In another attack, photojournalist Amr Al-Derawi and his parents were killed in an Israeli strike targeting the Shalt family home in Az-Zawayda town in central Gaza.
A civilian was also killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house near Abdel Aal junction on Al-Jalaa Street in western Gaza City. Another civilian was killed after Israeli aircraft targeted the Abu Al-Ajin area east of Deir Al-Balah city.
According to WAFA correspondent, the death toll from an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the Mishmish family in a residential tower in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza has risen to five, including two children.
Several injuries were reported following Israeli artillery shelling on Khuza'a town east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. Israeli forces also fired bullets and incendiary bombs at homes in the Al-Saftawi neighborhood, northwest of Gaza.
Israeli naval boats shelled the shores of Nuseirat camp, coinciding with artillery shelling, gunfire and an incursion by Israeli forces east of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Helicopters also opened fire on homes and tents of displaced residents in the Central Gaza Governorate.
Furthermore, medical sources stated that Israeli forces destroyed oxygen and electricity stations at the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, where medical supplies have run out. According to the sources, the military continues to raze the area around the hospital, destroying all means of livelihood in the area.
The Israeli offensive on Gaza by land, sea and air since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 45,581, mostly women and children, and the injury of 108,438 others.
This toll remains incomplete, as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or scattered along the roads, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews due to the relentless Israeli shelling and massive amount of debris.--WAFA
