NNA - At least 12 people were killed and many others injured early Friday in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting different areas across the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that three individuals, including journalist Omar Al-Deirawi, were killed when an Israeli airstrike hit a home belonging to the Shalt family in the town of Al-Zawaida, in central Gaza.
In another incident, four people were killed and several others wounded when an airstrike targeted a home and a nearby tent belonging to the Salman family west of Deir Al-Balah, also in central Gaza.
Elsewhere, one person was killed in an Israeli strike on a house near Abdul Aal Junction on Al-Jalaa Street, west of Gaza City. Another person was killed when an airstrike hit the Abu Al-Ajeen area east of Deir Al-Balah.
Earlier last night, 16 people, including children, were killed, and others wounded in Israeli airstrikes on residential homes in central Gaza.
Reports indicate that an airstrike on a home belonging to the Mashmash family in the Bidas Tower resulted in the murder of five Palestinians, including two children, and injuries to several family members.
Another airstrike on a house belonging to the Sheikh family in the Al-Sawarha area of the same camp killed five people.
Additionally, nine individuals were killed in an airstrike on a home belonging to the Abu Lebda family in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 45,581 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 108,438 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.--WAFA
