NNA - Iran said Monday it had "no direct contact" with Syria's new rulers after the fall of president Bashar al-Assad, a longtime Tehran ally.
"We have no direct contact with the ruling authority in Syria," foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said at a weekly press briefing. ----AFP
