NNA - Damascus - Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Bassam Sabbagh, discussed with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Al-Safadi, the repercussions of the terrorist attacks by the Al-Nusra Front and its associated organizations in northern Syria.
During the phone call he received from Al-Safadi, Sabbagh affirmed, “The Syrian state’s resolve and determination to protect its people and eliminate terrorism, in all its forms, in a way that ensures the restoration of security and stability for all Syrian lands.”
Al-Safadi noted that “Jordan is following these developments with concern,” stressing that “the Kingdom stands by sister Syria and its sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, ridding it of terrorism, and rejecting everything that threatens its security and stability.”
The two ministers agreed to pursue communication regarding efforts aimed at achieving security and stability.
