NNA - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad vowed on Sunday to use “force” to eliminate “terrorism,” according to what the presidency reported, while the city of Aleppo, the second largest city in the country, became outside the control of his forces, as part of a surprise attack launched by jihadist and opposition factions, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, as reported by Agence France-Presse.
Al-Assad said while receiving a call from an Abkhaz official, according to what was posted on the presidency’s Telegram account, “Terrorism only understands the language of force, and this is the language with which we will break it and eliminate it, regardless of its supporters and sponsors.”
