NNA - The Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that the Intelligence and Security Services in the UAE found the body of the missing Rabbi Zvi Kogan, considering the incident as a "criminal anti-Semitic terrorism," according to the "Russia Today" news agency.
The Prime Minister's Office statement said, "The Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi has been in contact with the family since the beginning of the incident and continues to accompany them during their difficult times, and his family in Israel has been informed."
According to Hebrew media, "The killing of Zvi Kogan is a criminal, anti-Semitic terrorist incident, and the State of Israel will act by all means and bring justice to the criminals responsible for his killing. Mossad is participating in the investigation amid suspicions of his kidnapping."
Maariv reported that there is fear that Kogan was killed by Iranian agents after they kidnapped him.According to the agency, Kogan served in the Israeli army as a fighter in the Givati Brigade, and is an assistant to Rabbi Levi Duchman, the chief rabbi of the Jewish community in the country.
