NNA – Arab League Secretary-General, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, speaking at the Arab-Islamic Summit on Monday asserted that “the disregard for international law has emboldened Israeli leadership to pursue reckless and irrational plans.”

 Aboul Gheit also noted that the expansion of conflict from Gaza to Lebanon poses a severe threat to the region’s future.

Moreover, Aboul Gheit emphasized that “what is needed is a path leading to a two-state solution.”
