NNA - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday that the Islamic Republic "does not seek war" but vowed to "respond appropriately to recent Israeli strikes on Iranian military sites."

"We do not seek war but we will defend the rights of our people and our country," Pezeshkian said during a cabinet meeting, adding: "We will respond appropriately to the aggression of the Zionist regime," according to Agence France-Presse.
