NNA - Iran rejected the "tendentious" accusations made in the American media that it was involved in a plot to assassinate former US President Donald Trump, according to "Agence France-Presse."

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said that Iran “strongly rejects any involvement in the recent armed attack on Trump,” while Iran’s representation at the United Nations said that talk of a previous plan to kill the Republican presidential candidate for the US presidency is “baseless and tendentious accusations.”
