NNA - The Iranian Ministry of Interior reported that presidential candidate Masoud Pezeshkian obtained 43.5% of votes, compared to 37.7% for candidate Saad Jalili, after counting about 19 million votes, according to the Iranian “Tasnim” news agency.
The preliminary official results of the presidential elections issued by the Ministry were as follows:
- Number of votes counted: 19,069,713 votes
- Masoud Pezeshkian: 8,302,577 votes
- Saad Jalili: 7,189,756 votes
- Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf: 2,676,512 votes
- Mustafa Pourmohammadi: 158,314 votes
