NNA - A general strike is observed today in Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities in protest against the Israeli occupation assault on Kafr Ni’ma village, west of Ramallah, which resulted in the killing of four Palestinians.
Sources said that shops were shuttered and life came to a standstill as calls were made for people to take part in protests and demonstrations in support ofdetainees in occupation jails.
The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) announced a general strike in the Ramallah governorate today in condemnation of the Israeli occupation’s assassination of the four Palestinians.
Last night, four Palestinians were killed and eight others were injured by Israeli forces' gunfire in the said village. The army kept hold of their bodies.
Around 538 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, including 133 children, and more than 5,200 others have been injured since October 7.--WAFA
