NNA – Member of Parliament, Farid Haykal Khazen, on Thursday visited the Apostolic Nuncio in Lebanon, Paolo Borgia, at the Papal Nunciature in Harissa, offering his condolences on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.

MP Khazen expressed his "deep sorrow over the loss of a man of peace and openness, who was a symbol of humanity and humility throughout his papacy."

MP Khazen also emphasized "the depth of the historical relationship between Lebanon and the Vatican."
