NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, has adjourned the parliamentary legislative session until 6:00 pm.

Speaker Berri announced the postponement of discussion of laws related to municipal elections to a specialized committee, and stressed that "there will be no postponement of the municipal elections."

In response to parliamentary interventions that took on a sectarian note regarding the municipal elections, Berri said: "This is absolutely unacceptable. As a House of Parliament, we must absorb everything. A member of parliament is a representative of the entire nation, and this is stipulated in the constitution."
