NNA – Lebanon's Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, on Wednesday received at his Yarzeh office, MP Jihad Al-Samad, head of the Parliamentary Defense, Interior, and Municipalities Committee.

Discussions reportedly focused on the general situation in the country.

Maj. Gen. Haykal also received UNDP Resident Representative in Lebanon, Blerta Aliko.

The discussion reportedly touched on ways to support the army.
