NNA – Caretaker Minister of Defense, Maurice Sleem, on Wednesday met with Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jesus Santos Aguado, at his office in Yarzeh. The meeting focused on bilateral relations and developments in Lebanon and the region.

Minister Sleem also met with a delegation from the "Youth Against Drugs - JAD" association, headed by Joseph Hawat, to learn about the association's efforts in treating and rehabilitating drug addicts, as well as its awareness campaigns about the dangers of drug addiction.

Sleem praised the association's awareness work and commended "the efforts of the military forces in combating the scourge of drugs."
