NNA - The "National News Agency" correspondent at Rafic Hariri International Airport reported that the first batch of ballot boxes for the parliamentary elections arrived from Tehran to Beirut airport.

The ballot boxes at the airport were received by Consul Mansour Shia and Osama Al-Hayek from the Directorate of Political Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, where a report was prepared for being received by the Internal Security Forces, which in turn will transmit the boxes to the Banque du Liban.

Ambassador Abbas Hassan pointed out that "the voting process was normal in light of the Lebanese rush to exercise their right to vote, and the voting process ended at ten at night," adding that "the boxes contained four hundred and seventy votes from two polling stations, indicating that the percentage of voting in Tehran was 74%."
