NNA - Members of the Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) office of the Italian battalion, in coordination with personnel from the Logistics Battalion operating within UNIFIL’s western sector, delivered a donation of medical supplies and clothing to the Lebanese Red Cross in Tyre.

The handover ceremony was attended by ITALBATT Commander Colonel Giacomo Tricase, the CIMIC team, several Italian peacekeepers, and the President of the Tyre Red Cross, Mazin Saklawi Ajami, along with board members.

The donated items, provided by Italian benefactors, aim to support the residents of Tyre and neighboring towns, where access to medical supplies has been significantly affected by the recent conflict.
