NNA - A military patrol on Friday noon came under fire by a number of gunmen in Tripoli's Tabbaneh region- Syria Street, wounding three soldiers, Army Command-Guidance Directorate said in a communiqué.



The attack came as the army was executing its deployment task in Tripoli in a bid to preserve security.



Army patrol members countered the source of fire, and army units took extraordinary measures to prosecute fire shooters to arrest them and bring them to the concerned judiciary.



In the meantime, the army continued its deployment operation.
