NNA - A state of cautious calm coupled with intermittent sniping is currently witnessed in the city of Tripoli, which witnessed escalating clashes between Bab Tbbaneh and Jabal Mohsen last night, NNA reporter said on Tuesday.
Last night, clashes left five injured, including military men. Many of Syria and Bakar streets' residents fled their houses in search for shelter.
Meanwhile, Lebanese Army units are responding to the sources of fire and effectuating intensive patrols in the battle-scarred regions, NNA field reporter added.
Traffic in the city of Tripoli is very slow, whereas schools, banks, and public institutions that are located away from heat zones opened their doors to the public.
